I created a ski mask with some old yarn we were going to throw away i seen it on the internet and looked at a tutorial on how to make it. This connects to my learning of trauma because sometimes and person can be so traumatized they become anti social and don't want there face being seen which the mask represents no weakness and block out the fear. It connects to personal healing in these ways, Like when covid-19 first was brought to our attention this and many other masks were used to keep us safe and make sure we don't catch it. That being said it connects to personal healing because it is very helpful to when you need to heal whether its mental or psychical. It connects to historical trauma because of robberies and a bunch of other crimes people used ski masks to cover their faces while they did mass destruction and took lives. So there was some history behind ski masks but not really as good unless your skiing. It connects to my trauma because I got in a bad car accident with a ski mask on and after it happened and I hurt my leg I didn't really want to show my face and I wore a ski mask to cover it. But it also reminded me I don't have to be scared I'm a human that can handle a lot its true to say " I'm a bottom boy survivor".
